I Guess We'll Have To Find A Very Small Guitar...

Sarala loves music. I love that she loves it. I love music. It's something that we'll be able to share. I would love for her to want to play some sort of instrument or sing or...it's up to her. I'm going to try real hard to let her decide on that...I won't force her. I want her to want to play or sing. As we were rockin' out...I thought about some stuff.

The fact that Sarala is actually with Crystal and I...how awesome. The fact that she is healthy and growing is awesome. She's learning so much day by day. This got me thinking about the awesome-ness of God. God is big. He can do some amazing things...we need to remember this. We don't always keep in mind the big-ness of God. Craziness happens on a daily basis in a lot of our lives. I know that I tend to not go to God at first with stuff. I'm trying to fix this though. He's a big God that cares about us...even the little things. The Psalm below from the Message translation coupled with some pictures I took last night give us a glimpse of the -ness of God (You, Me and Dupree..? If you haven't seen the movie, don't read any further...the character Dupree becomes a motivational speaker who's mantra is "finding your inner -ness." for those of you who have seen it...;)

Psalm 96

Sing God a brand-new song! Earth and everyone in it, sing!
Sing to God—worship God!
Shout the news of his victory from sea to sea,
Take the news of his glory to the lost,
News of his wonders to one and all!
For God is great, and worth a thousand Hallelujahs.
His terrible beauty makes the gods look cheap;
Pagan gods are mere tatters and rags.
God made the heavens—
Royal splendor radiates from him,
A powerful beauty sets him apart.
Bravo, God, Bravo!
Everyone join in the great shout: Encore!
In awe before the beauty, in awe before the might.
Bring gifts and celebrate,
Bow before the beauty of God,
Then to your knees—everyone worship!

Get out the message—God Rules!
He put the world on a firm foundation;
He treats everyone fair and square.

Let's hear it from Sky,
With Earth joining in,
And a huge round of applause from Sea.

Let Wilderness turn cartwheels,
Animals, come dance,
Put every tree of the forest in the choir—

An extravaganza before God as he comes,
As he comes to set everything right on earth,
Set everything right, treat everyone fair.
